Welcome to The New Jersey Children's Museum
The New Jersey Children's Museum is a great place to celebrate your child's birthday party! Toddlers and preschoolers love the interactive, hands-on exhibits, including a real fire truck, a real helicopter, cool fossil/dinosaur cave, play ballet studio, kids' medieval castle, and much, much more. Ask about special party activities, special birthday favors, and fun birthday party themes!
Don't miss our first Royal Ball
The New Jersey Children's Museum is pleased to present it's first Royal Affair, "A Princess Ball"! This enchanted event will be held on Friday,October 1st from 5:30-9pm. All lords and ladies are invited to dine ( in your fanciest ball attire), with your favorite Princesses, Cinderella, Belle, Sleeping Beauty, Ariel, Snow White and Jasmine will be in attendance. The Princesses will meet and greet all the children, sign autographs, pose for pictures and be participating in all the royal festivities of the evening.
We are also pleased to include at the event, the King of Kiddie Rock n Roll, "Polka Dot", Ron Albanese, as our DJ and MC of the evening. We'll have dancing, games, tattoos and other fairy tale activities. This is an enchanting evening you do not want to miss!
Tickets can be purchased for Dinner Sessions at 5:30,6:00,6:30 and 7pm.Tickets are $19.99 plus tax per person. Tickets are non-refundable.This includes dinner, dessert, dancing and playtime in the museum. Tickets go on sale September 1st and will be available for purchase online. Visa and MasterCard are accepted. We are sorry that coupons can not be used for this special event. Best suited for ages 2-8yrs, but all ages are welcome!
Children under 1 free. A ticket must be purchased for each adult and/or child attending.
Summer Break “Fun Shops”
Come join us during the week as we host our mini craft “fun-shops” once again this summer. They were a huge hit last year with our visitors. There are different fun themes each week, and the workshops are held weekdays from 2-3pm. Classes begin July 6 until September 3rd. Tues-Friday. These “fun-shops” are free with paid admission. As always our “fun-shops” are tailored for our little visitors as well as their big brother or sister. No pre-registration required, but there is limited seating.

August 3-6 “Beading Bonanza” Come beading with us! We’ll have all different types of beads for bracelets, necklaces and more. Not just for girls, we’ll have cool stuff for boys too!
August 10-13 “Model Magic “ We’ll have play dough ( non toxic) for the youngest visitors and modeling clay for the older kids. We’ll show some basic modeling techniques and neat tools to use to mold their masterpiece.
August 17-20 “Just Stamp It” Use all different stamps and color pads to make cards and wrapping paper and even a Pirate Treasure Map!

August 31- September 3“ My Summer Adventure” Bring in your own photos from your summer vacation, camp and other great summer adventures and we’ll help you put them in your own book about YOU!
